Several colleges and universities have been newly opened under this newly established Unnat Krishi Shiksha scheme. The details about the courses which are offered by the colleges and universities, which are opened newly due to the introduction of this agri shiksha scheme throughout the nation, are given by the Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Mr. Radha Modhan Singh recently.
Key points about this Agri Shhiksha Scheme
- Under this scheme, recently 4 new educational institutes have been established in UP and in MP. In addition to those, around a hundred centers will be developed all across the country for the development of the agriculture under this scheme.
- For the constructions and establishment of those 100 centers under this scheme, the central government of India has allocated the budget of around 5 Crore.
- The main intention of this scheme is created awareness among the students about the importance of the agricultural activities. Under this scheme, the agricultural graduates will be special scholarship amount of Rs. 3K.
- The scheme also includes the foreign countries collaborations in the agricultural studies due to which the students can be able to learn the latest advanced technological help available for boosting the agricultural sectors.

In order to provide better benefits and to cover the attention of more youths towards the agricultural studies, the courses offered under the scheme will be linked to the relevant profession for availing better job opportunities for the agriculture graduates after completing their course. While addressing these information about the scheme to the people the minister Mr. Radha Mohan Singh, quoted that the role which these special universities and colleges for the agriculture is going to be vital one for the development of the agricultural activities in the nation in nearby future.
